Apidea queen excluders

[Black Comb]

My bees are not going through these - either for food or entrance/exit.
I don't have any measuring equipment but to my eye they look a little narrower than the standard wire ones.
Anyone else had this problem?

Nope. Worked just fine last season post-mating and until laying worker brood well.

Got some new ones out at the minute - if I get time I'll check them later.

I use a few and have done for years, always fondant in the top, biggest problem is bees building comb in the fondant box as they use the fondant, never had any probs with bees not going up
