Hi lorrick,
Thanks for sharing the pics with us. Looks a good hive and you got a lot of bees there. I could not see any obvious varroa damage to the workers. Fingers crossed!

It's 10am and I am waiting in the garden watching them build up as they are already up and foraging heavily at the moment, (fingers crossed) for midday onwards !! and a lot of bee's in and out. I was pleased that I found the queen yesterday but really annoyed I cocked it up marking her. As discussed I will just have to wait and see what happens. I might do better photographing bees than keeping them as for the number of bee's that is why I wondered about them already swarming as that is a huge number of bees to have unless the Queen only went with a small group ? hence waiting for midday
