Beginner would appreciate advice
Started in late April with a 6 frame nuc
Trimmed to fit in top bar hive
Fed with 1:1syrup till start of June
Now have drawn out 16 full top bars of comb
Queen laying well
But have 14 top bars of brood and virtually no capped honey on the top bars with the stores
No obvious robbing

I'm thinking I should feed again
Is this right?
And if so 2:1 or 1:1

Thanks for the advice

How much nectar or uncapped honey is taking up comb space?

Not much
Bits scattered through the brood combs - but not much
But very little on the other combs
Less than 7 days ago
Thanks

Put a couple of 700ml jar feeders of 1:1 in this morning.
Will check the feeders again on Monday - may need filling again and worried about the syrup going off in this weather.

I don't know what your local forage conditions are so some feeding may be in order. Syrup going off depends on the time it spends sitting around waiting for use. Either feed fresh syrup little and often or try adding a bit of Hivemakers recipe to inhibit degradation. Just be aware you don't want to overdo the feeding.
Where's JBM when you need a Welsh advisor? I believe he spends some time doing missionary duties in the depths of the BBKA's facebook group but he might be back here occasionally and spot your post. :)
