    Worst winter ever

    A well reasoned argument again.

    Worst winter ever

Just as I thought. You have none but you have a computer and know how to use it.

    Worst winter ever

So that you can interpret it properly which many people clearly cannot. Any fool can buy a computer and write rubbish. In academic work you need to be more thorough rather than simply having an opinion.

    Worst winter ever

What are your qualification that allow you to make this statement about academic work?

    Worst winter ever

What knowledge are you drawing on here? Well I have a PhD and worked in this environment for many years. You are just wrong. A PhD can have totally negative result - it is harder to write up but it can be done.

    Will a fence cause confusion?

I wonder if they think the netting is a gigantic spiders web so avoid it.

    Will a fence cause confusion?

I have netting around one of my apiaries which actually allows bee to get in and out (it is meant to be for fruit so allowing bees in to pollinate). Anyway I have loads of the stuff from a job lot so thought I would give it a go. Bee always fly up and over. Interestingly (but maybe also...

    LASI annual report

We do; Hivemaker is an applied scientist in my way of thinking.

Just curious; What happens if it gives a positive result?

    Re-queening two aggressive colonies

Have you tried Hivemaker? He might have some overwintered queens.

5 year old 80% Acetic acid

Totally impossible to predict. If you can be bothered send me some and I can measure it for you. Or just take a punt and use 2 times the amount that is recommended. Will not do any harm and should kill any spores. I love some of the pseudo scientific answers we get on here. Pure tosh.

    Potato varieties

Thanks for reply. May give these a go as my main crop frequently get devastated by blight. A crop of even average potatoes would often be better than what I get. I see there is also a blight resistant tomato from Suttons now but only as plants.

5 week absence? How feasible please?

Here is a genuine question. Why do you think it is any of your business!!??

    Potato varieties

Do they make good eating (i.e. what' the flavour like)?

    battery acid

Forget trying to neutralise. Lots and lots of water to dilute is the way to go.

    Global warming ... It's back and it's official ..

Yes thanks!! Just picking up on silly comments (which add nothing to the otherwise discussion) which it appears you cannot defend so you want a slanging match. Not from me not unless you wiseup.

    Global warming ... It's back and it's official ..

Your comment was of no value basically. There are many excellent and eminent American scientists. Adds nothing to the discussion and misleading to the less informed. If it was an attempt at humour well it certainly did not get me laughing.

    Global warming ... It's back and it's official ..

Rather ignorant about scientific research then.
