I do not see anything...

    My Little swarm

On Friday I found a really small swarm but I boxed it and put it into a hive. This is the first time I have done this but I put a queen excluder between mesh floor and brood box and another under the crown board, I am feeding them fondant and sugar water. Is this all correct and do I need to do...

    Brood Box

I was given a swarm last year and they seem disease free. Do I need to replace the brood box with a clean one I was going to place a new mesh floor on but do not know how often the brood box should be replaced- Any advice please?

    Apiguard

I have just put apiguard in my hive but the crown board squashed it. I have left Apiguard in with 25% below the vent in the crown board and 75% squashed. Not to happy with this though would it be OK to remove the crown board for the month? Thanks
