    Thanks for that it brought back memories Paddy Padmore was a master his cakes of wax were masterpieces they were perfection I was lucky enough to hear one of his talks once and I always tried to copy him but I never reached his standard quite!

    When it has set and cooled submerge it in a bowl full of rain water and if you are lucky it should float out. As Oliver said if you have to much fairy liquid in the bowl it will mark it put it in but wipe it round well then wipe it out.

    Hi Try standing your glass dish in a bowl of very hot water pour your wax into the dish then put a piece of Hot glass over the top and let it all cool together worked for me 30years ago good luck

    Hi Ratcatcher nice photos pity about the air bubbles in the corners of jar on right I have a thin spoon that I have bent the end like a hook and you can pull those bubbles out and they come to the top presentation much better just a thought

    Price of honey I quit agree I charge £4-50-lb at the door £4.25 to Super Market they sell @£5.29-lb no problem selling , Now local farm shop selling Gloucester Honey Jarred Labelled £3.75 lb What's the matter can't they sell honey in Gloucestershire for a decent price
