    Hungry bees?

I have been feeding my smaller colony and they are taking the syrup very quickly, is this normal? 2 litres taken in 3 days

    Leaving honey on over winter

I didn't take any honey off this year and thought I would leave it on for them to feed over winter. Is this a good idea? And do I need to move the super down to under the brood box? Many thanks for any advice

    Hello!

Hi Steve, not a bad season thanks, split my hive so now have a good, strong colony and a smaller one. Didn't take any honey off so they have food for the winter. Looking forward to the start of next season :)

    Eke

If I use an eke on my national hive, can I put a syrup feeder in it? The syrup feeders I've seen are too deep, is there one that will fit in the eke? Thanks

    Hello!

My name is Alison and I started my beekeeping journey last year in Powys, Mid Wales. I currently have 2 hives, one very strong, the other is a smaller colony which I am hoping to get through the winter
