UPDATE: The two queen cells in the mini nuc didn't hatch. They did contain queen bee shaped larvae. I think they got too cold over night, due to the low temperatures and low number of bees in the mini nuc. The main hive was checked again yesterday and it had another single queen cell with an...

The existing sealed cell had a big larvae in it, and the unsealed cell was sealed today by the bees. I put the second cell in a mini nuc and will see what happens; I always like experimenting and learning more. It was fun cutting up the frame into two halves and setting up some new mini frames...
