Hi , I am going to use the above method for swarm control , the colonie is on double brood box full of brood in each box any pointers from the more experienced out there ( does it have to be only two frames of brood below?). I will be using snelgrove board due to space)👍

When I checked my hives quickly for stores there were two that had a funny smell coming from the hives , I have been keeping bees for 11 yrs and have never had this smell before and have never lost bees in the winter YET... The bees in the hives I am on about are alive and have stores .... any...

Hi , I have a hive with three suppers on and a virgin/hopefully mated queen , I need to treat as varroa count shows , so I use OAV method-can I treat with supers and will it effect the queen . Many thanks in advance
