    For the avid cricket fans

The amazing thing was the immediate support of the team manager and statement he will be keeping his job permanently..........whilst an assessment takes place.............and I presume, scapegoats found !! Jobs for the boys springs to mind.

    nail gun vs screws

Nail gun for me. I can't imagine that screws wouldn't just split the frames. It's bad enough with a nail gun and the small pins.

    K****tar Wax Melter

I do own one with only the one tap and must confess it is basically a very very expensive tea urn.

Hi John I haven't read the entire thread yet, but I wondered how you were able to find the "lines" on your property.

    Manchester Cathedral Apiary; By Appointment

I agree, I had my DNA tested by Oxford Ancestry, very interesting results. It seems that my fathers line shows up through Europe heading North through Scandinavia until arriving in the UK, and my mothers traveled Westwards into France and then up to Ireland before crossing into the UK. Still...

    Manchester Cathedral Apiary; By Appointment

I'm not "saying" anything, I'm asking questions as I find it interesting. There are plenty of ways to determine a persons ancestry. Jews for example work solely on a maternal basis. Norsemen used solely the paternal.

    Manchester Cathedral Apiary; By Appointment

I'm interested in these claims of being a descendant of various noble characters and how people come by the info, ever since my mother told me I was descended from Rob Roy MacGregor. I suspect that I might more than likely been descended from a pig herder who was once spat on by Rob Roy as he...

Well done Dusty. I thought I would change my avatar as a gesture of my feelings for the Royal family.

    Paint and poly

That is true, no visable deterrent on an interior mark, hmm, maybe I could cut a stencil (for neatness) and mark the outside with the marker pen or some kind of chemical that wont eat through ? I do agree that branding is probably better but seems so longwinded.

    Paint and poly

Thanks, that sounds a nice easy way, just what I'm looking for.

    Paint and poly

I thought of that, and it certainly will work but I'm wondering if there was an easier etching kind of solution. I wonder if some kind of glue would do it. I guess I could experiment but wondered if someone else isn't as lazy as me.
