Tesco pulls honey off shelves amid purity concerns

And in what manner would you like to defend the latest round of so called vaccines ? have you kept up to speed with the science on the subject matter, clearly not. And crackpot I clearly am not. As for climate change and it's ridiculous crackpot lefty nonsense, spaffing the nations wealth on...

    Hive loss

Is there some evidence there of chalkbrood ? clearly not a healthy colony. Makes you wonder if there was queen loss and the bees smart enough to realise it a lost cause so abandoning. How long had you had this line of bees and what was the progeny of the queen/queens ? That mite drop on the...

    National Champions

I first came across the term when I started to have regular dealings with lads from parts of London that still had working class Londoners. It is not a term we use here in the norf. We are quickly losing our localised connections with the past. The invisible glues that bond our culture and identity.

Not rhyming slang just slang, it does surprise me that you have not come across this term. They have products with it on the label or have had. It is used mostly in the Sarf of course.Just had a quick check and Evostick make a product called The Dogs

    National Champions

The dogs is a term we use here to describe something which is top notch or the best of the best. The full phrase being cockney slang "the dogs bollocks" or to be polite in polite company abbreviated to "the dogs" I am another Beek who is a full on footie fan. Whenever I hear your name my...

Hopefully you will have a clear answer after your inspection. What will you do with the small colony to give it a chance ?

    Hive loss

Did you find the Queens ? Dead or alive ? Sounds more likely untimely Queen loss. i got caught out by this on what I thought a foolproof colony. I had taken my eye off of the ball. When did you last notice eggs larvae or capped brood, is there any leftover capped brood or chilled brood on the...

    Understanding behaviour

When you are in a bind, it is how hard blue clay is described by navvies when they were tunneling and came across that natural material which is harder than rock. As for your hillsides, it is step and cut which produces terracing. very common in our hills.

    Price of Land?

Some years back the then competent lads dropped off a gully cleaner for me, they are custom made and very simple but do the job, they clearly knew what the future would bring. A ways down the road from me there is a huge flood alleviation project on the go. The gullies up brew from it are...

    Price of Land?

Spent years doing similar with no help from others equally effected. Once I am gone it is unlikely anyone will know where the old drainage is located

    Is it really honey?

Imagine if any mass marketed honey product had to undergo testing and have a clearly labelled rating. Especially so if the product is sourced from outside of the UK with unknown origin. That would be just about all of the product on supermarket shelves.
