I may be wrong but I had two hives with a similar problem - one now is doing fine with plenty normal brood. I will assume this was a queen just settling in. I had hoped this hive would follow suit. Given the pics i know it's now unlikely. Would you suggest finding the queen and re-queening?

I may add to this thread later.. I'm going to leave another 10 days or so though I might take out the frames with all this drone brood before they emerge. Thanks for the suggestions

Hopefully this will work - a few pictures from the hive. One hive all settled and doing fine no sign of multiple eggs but this one still the same. Queen not seen. It was a swarming hive which I split from and then eventually re-queened

Im interested in anyone's opinion on how big a problem I have in 2 of my hives. Both have multiple frames of brood in a good pattern and little drone brood, but there are a few cells in each where there is more than one egg. Can this just be a less than perfect queen? Or is this always laying...

I had a wasp nest in my garden in a bird box - not quite the planned occupants but fine all the same. Birds been in since and cleared it all out.

I have prescribed honey dressings before for our district nurses to use in the recent past. I'm sorry I don't know the research behind it. The dressings are all in the bnf (british national formulary)
