    Cut comb honey

    I have a comb cutter from a leading supplier. I cut each of those bit in half lengthways. the height is ok to fit in a 1lb jar. i sell mine for £6.50. Sorry. read that wrong. i described for adding a bit of cut comb in a jar of honey. why not try that too.

    Drying up Honey

    Hi I have extracted some honey. 80% odd capped. A little uncapped but passed the shake test... But its still showing 19.5% water... I know I should have tested before extracting but I did not have access to a refractometer. Is there a way of drying it up? Thanks Craig.

    HI I am using a slow cooker for melting my wax. I am using double or triple fold Muslin to filter it through. I am quite pleased with the results.     Went to my hereford apiary and took off a super. 90% capped with no drips when given a hard shake. Uncapped and extracted. When I tranfered it to a bucket via the strainer I noticed it was very very runny. Maybe due to warmth in the house? Also, it tasted quite bitter and is a dark colour. I...

    Printing my own labels

    Extracting honey that should have been cut comb

    Lets hope the big 3 read this and maybe try to be a bit more customer friendly. Everyone has been a great help... I think its chunk honey time.. :-)
