Some of my bees were coming back with bright yellow pollen on their faces. I'm getting loads of balsam covered bees, but this was quite funny as they seemed to stop outside the hive and use their legs to try to get it off before entering the hive. It looked as though they'd overshot the pollen source and landed splat on their faces and wanted to remove it before any of the other bees could see what a mess they made of the job
I wasn't quick enough with the camera, but I'll try again.
Any ideas what it might be?
