Greetings,
we have been in gisburn now for over a week and still not seen any honey bees, lots and lots of different bumblers though,
masses of hawthorn blossom and raspberry flowers plus all the usuall cottage garden flowers,
I wonder how my bees are at home, adios.

Yes it's funny how honey bees are distributed throughout the country. I never see them in my own back garden, unless I have a swarm in isolation there, but loads and loads of bumblebees.
I live within 3 miles of where some of my hives are but guess they have enough forage a lot closer than my garden but I would have thought there were other hives nearer to me!
