Drifts of snowdrops all dangling ready for a wee bit of warmth to open them up a bit. The boards in the open mesh floors had small lumps of orange pollen so I guess that they were out on them on Sunday when it would have been warm enough. Hazel catkins have been out for a couple of weeks too.

Willow will be a while yet. My bees usually have the odd day when they can gorge themselves on snowdrops, and maybe a touch of winter aconite, then a snack on Japanese quince in the walled garden before the willow provides their next excitement.

Some of the bulbs are just starting in the garden, it's very nice.

I managed to paddle across part of our garden today, and found chives a couple of inches tall. Not flowers I know, but it was good to see.

We've got viburnum tinus, mahonia, some native primroses, hazel catkins and celandines. Something's killed our snowdrops, again, either mice, squirrels or too much of the wrong sort of rain.
