I seem to recall mention in the past 6 months or so of a RBI or SBI advocating super comb change at similar intervals to brood comb.

That is nonsense. What is the idea on that?

Acetic has no meaning in the frame store.

Well it does stop wax moth at least and it means that I don't worry about having to put supers back onto the same hive, which makes storage and then supering easier.

In USA they use to keep very old combs. The comb in the picture has EFB too.
