Assuming I have made a decision about disease, what to do with very small casts...They are taking up kit and space.

Result of civic duty here in suburbia. Ive now 3 small casts all with only 1 - 2 frames of bees and settled down for at least 3 days.

Roger Patterson says 3 colonies won't fight. Can i chuck em into a NUC? What will the queens do?

Or am I better to seek out v queens, kill save for one and then squirt with some Glade?

Or how do I quickly unite with a medium colony that needs a boost of population? Glade again? Sticky mint spray ( as suggested by Roger)?

(Weirdly, though seemingly simple, this topic is the one that is the most difficult to grasp).

If all queen's are laying I would combine using one queen and vanilla glade. When you see how the queen is doing then consider combining with another hive

I have 1 time had carnage when chucking 3 together but only once, lesson is don’t believe Roger. I would ideally let all three start laying and then combine with the benefit of additional brood. Cage queen from 1 and air freshener may be safer. If you chuck them together a chance a single virgin may be lost on flight

Pray tell, whats this stuff?? Have you a recipe?

Righto Eric. What about a quick solution to help me with kit and room if I can find one of the virgins?
