My best score is 1 on April 1st 2022. I thought it was an April Fools joke and they were just making everyone's first guess a winner. However, it was a genuine win and the word for that day just happened to be my start word.

Great day to get a 1!
Play long enough (~6years?) and getting 1 is certain so long as you have a word that is in the list of 2,700 or so target words.
