Hi all,
Having received my gift hives on Friday, did a first inspection. Bloody hell. Three brood boxes a piece, four hives. Two collapsed frames, one opened supercedure cell. Runny bees pinging off me. And this for a total beeginner. I was on for two hours, sweating like a pig, telling the kids to keep away.
I was smiling all the time though! What a brilliant hobby.
