Interesting comment there. Is it a good honey for cooking then? What is its flavor?

Super Glue?

You been sticking your fingers in that jar I gave you yet?

No, its the chemical that gives mustard the mustard.

Are you saying you are missing some super glue and it might have made its way into the gift jar? I am saving it to be opened when I finally extract my first ever crop for taste comparison purposes.

Both my hives are far busier than in July, glad they are getting the hang of it. I am excited to see how they will start up next year as I think I have a great location for them here.

My obs hive has finally decided to finish the free comb building exercise on the frame I put in there months ago and have now started comb on the last side of the frame with foundation. Packing away loads of pollen this month and I see honey as well now. They weren't bringing in hardly anything last month. Final roundup for winter..Shall have to check other hives to see what I can steal.

They only stated work on this bit of foundation on Saturday and last night I see that even though the cells are not yet built to the regulation H&S depth some already have honey in......

No i checked that ... a few bit may open but my check site is still closed.
Here it maybe the heather is yielding

Your bees have tens of thousands of eyes covering many square km and vertical meters; you have two, just above ground level...

My two came across a huge ivy plant 200m from my hives, chopped and gapped just this week. Aaaargh. Partly in flower already so I am hoping its dying gasp is to send my bees off with a bunch of pollen to help it out.
