Hi guys
I am not sure why one of my hives will not use the bottom brood box which is full of new comb, the queen still wants to go up into the super and lay there. (Yes, I know I can add a QE, it's still the same if I have one on, they don't use the bottom)
Should I try adding some of the frames from the top brood box to the bottom to encourage her to go down and add the new frames to the top?
Should I put the new brood box ONTOP of the main nest instead? Yes, I know they should go down and not up but this isn't the first time it's happened, most of the time my queens would rather go up.
Thank you!
