I found two of my hives had grey slugs on the floor today, the bees seemed to ignore them. I removed them, along with a couple of woodlice and ants.
Is this a common occurance and how do i stop it, both hives are on stands but have solid floors. ( i think ive answered my own question)
I also saw a queen for the first time today, after i had given up hope of finding her and had stopped looking there she was!
Ive marked her green so hopefully she wont be so elusive in future.
One down three to go.
