I had these formers made for me some years ago when offshore and they were to be 9mm as at the time that was the suggested dia. Now it seems it's better to be 10mm.
My old holder was packing in so having bought a bonny new set of drill bits I decided to make a new one. Out came the micrometer to decide on the drill bit and lo, 9.5mm. I stood and laughed as a, I had the 9.5mm bit making the job a doddle and b, it was the perfect compromise though I've raised many a queen using the cups so I've actually been ahead of the curve so to speak.
The cups are in the strainer as I washed them thoroughly due to using very soapy water to ease them off the former. Dip former in soap, dip in wax and repeat.
