Does anyone know where I can buy a
saf honey extractor from

Thanks

I am interested in your 525 espace with a mellower and inner strainer

which basket option are you considering - bear in mind as i read it there is an error in the catalogue entry (p6) for the extractor - the kadett basket takes 6 DB super frames or 3 brood (see the seperate kadett entry for clarification).

May be worth asking if anyone has any experience with this extractor. Having just used a SAF basic model I would have rather used our associations old plastic one. The frame cage wasn't that sturdy hence the frames kept falling out, also not much room at the bottom to hold honey.

I dont mind as long as I can spin brood frames as well I allso would like a motor on it also

I also have the basic vershion and I think it's great but I would like to upgrade to a bigger model with a motor.

the saf motorised ones look expensive -

the 8 frame radial giordan includes racks for brood frames AND comes with drill motorisation for £359.

no - giordan ones are extractor only BUT a seperate tank and strainer wouldn't bring total cost up near saf motorised ones?

The place I got mine from was Bee equipped derbyshire they have a web site.

Hi will
Thank you for this information
I have found there website and I'm going to order the espace with the motor. The prices was what I had in mind

I've seen other makes but my SAF is a great unit but I have out grown and need something bigger and with a motor

Thanks again

If anyone is thinking of getting the giordan I know they sell very quickly, he currently has a waiting time of a about 3 weeks, I have one on order at the moment. Have been using my dads old brinsea twin spin and it takes an age so looking forward to an 8 framer.

I started with a hand crank one then found it danced around the floor unless you screwed it down, so I invested in a motor for it and it works great extracts in no time, just make sure you start of slow as it does get some speed up. Will

I found the same. It does dance around bait
I do like the quality of the SAF units

I thought that I could also save time with a motor as I could uncap more frames as the unit does it's work :)
