Was up the field spraying the Knotweed this evening (nearly there now - gone from covering a hundred yard square piece three years ago to just a few foot square clumps dotted around) and what did I see cheekily poking through the fence near the stables? Balsam! :banghead: Nowhere near a watercourse or anyithing but it's found it's way up there - so now I've got the full hit on the field: hawthorn, blackthorn, willow, bramble, clover wish it was more than four acres

Was spraying HB with a fungus the only solution, if you ask me the bloody lazy anglers should get of their bums and go and pull the stuff up before it flowers, paying out probably millions of pounds of tax payers money for a stupid research on how to get rid of it when a six year old knows how to get rid of weeds. If they start doing this here I'll be the first to start a petition

I live on a remote Peninsula in the NorthWest Highlands with no road network and a 1 mile crossing across the loch.
Yesterday I noticed that it is nw growing on the shore bank, so if it can get here it will get anywhere!

Hopefully Varroa has not reached you yet?
