I have had a lot of activity due to late flow. But today activity really tailed off from 4pm even though the weather was great.

I just lifted the lid and notices significant activity on the cover board. Mid summer and I would guess it was time for a super.

Any ideas?

Clear crownboard?

When you say you lifted the lid and there was significant activity on the cover board, do you mean on the top of it, (rather than the underside)? If so, you must have the feeder hole in your cover board open! Close it off and put some insulation between it and the roof.

Not fiddling, not worrying, just observing. Wanting to learn about behaviour.

Thanks
