Queen Emergence Timing

Having carried out a walk away split. Leaving BIAS for them to raise QCs I’m wondering when to expect emerging queens
On day 6 there were 2 charged QCs. On day 9 there were 7 capped QCs
What day should I expect the first Queen to emerge ?
I know it’s 16 days from egg or maybe day 13 from graft ?
Would age larvae would they have chosen to raise as queens

On day 6 you say there was 2 charged cells. All eggs layed before split would be 6 days old by this point and older lava would of been beyond use now .So, did you miss the others?

Yes I’m presuming I missed them
It’s my first proper season and attempt at increase

And also, if I remember correctly, it's an average of around 9 days from emergence to laying.

5 days larva
8 days to emerge

But if warm conditions will speed it up, cold slow it down (I use an incubator and notice 1C difference in timing

Assume they started with larvae just at change from egg - 3 days old.
On day six the 2QCs would be less than 10 days old.
On day 9, the first 2QCs would be at least 13 days old
The other 5 capped QCs may be 1-2 days older BUT unlikely to be older.. - you must (?) have missed them earlier when you found the two.

So I expect 2QCs will emerge around day 12-13.
And the other five? around day 14-15.
