Propolis - removal & use

Hi, I have a lot of propolis in my hives. What does everyone do with theirs when they scrape it off and how do they do it?

Hi, I have a lot of propolis in my hives. What does everyone do with theirs when they scrape it off and how do they do it?

I collected quite a bit last week, fresh stuff which I put into the top pocket of my bee suit. As usual had mobile call which I answered put mobile into my suit, took several minutes to retrieve it from the propolis and many days to clean it. Otherwise I dissolve propolis in vodka or gin and gargle with it if I have sore throat, mixture always to slip down throat but at least it is 'medicinal' I get lots of sore throats.
