Comvita Manuka 15+ 250g £50.00 in H&B I wouldn't want to pay that price

Me neither, but if I wanted manuka honey for some reason I'd rather pay that price than half as much for a bogus product.

I thought comvita were the biggest player?
I'd understood that it was they along with the ministry of agriculture who nailed down the whole umf thing.

MPI have nothing to do with the UMF brand, .. yet

Yes and CONvita now own the branding, and the Co have been lobbying the guvment hard out for years.

Convita have used some cunning moves to secure a massive foot hold in the NZ honey industry. What used to be the NBA ( national beekeepers association ) has been reinvented with CV's help into what is now known as Apiculture NZ
The NBA only had about a 6% membership of bk's through out NZ, ... the new Apiculture group has probably even less, ... but through cunning and blatant deceit... are trying to promote themselves as a mouth piece for all ...
