So I did a demaree about 3 weeks on 3 hives but sadly one of my biggest double brood hive is now queenless ....no eggs and no signs .... hive still full of bees as the brood in the top box emerged and doing the nectar/pollen collection thing ..

Probably me being cack handed :-(

My actions since then have been to remove the demaree and put one qc from the top BB back down into the bottom of the hive ... and will wait and see .... but should I take some brood from another hive to top up 'new bees' in a fortnight or so ?
