He was a nice man who I had lots in common with .. we corresponded regularly and I still think about him ... just because someone is not mentioned doesn't mean they are forgotten.

I usually defend thread drift but I'm starting to wonder if sticky threads might benefit from being locked by admin at the time they are created. We seem to have wandered from a "severe" topic into nostalgia here. Nothing wrong with nostalgia but do we need an "in memoriam" thread elsewhere?
