I never had a problem using MAQS it's just got too damned expensive

Used to use it on silage during 80/90's addF it was called awful stuff corroded everything and a nightmare if the machine broke down always had holes in my overalls in them days. The manufacture brought out another called addsafe which had a percentage of sulphuric acid which was just as bad imho.

But how much has been worn off over the centuries - does it still weigh 2.25 grams?
And if it was weighed recently.............. where did they get the coin to calibrate that scale accurately?

Where you need 2 decimal places, except in drugs?

On what size hive is 2.25g optimal for? , was it tested on a langstroth, a dadant, a national , a wbc , a commercial, a 14x12 or brood and a half

12 frames in a 14x12 is twice the size of a wbc brood box

a question I asked - the answer was, regardless of the size of hive a dose of around 2.2 grms was the most effective
