there will be a public event in Arndale centre at Manchester and group of PhD students are doing an activity about carbon footprint of food. they have there all kind of different stuff like "kitchen" with wormery to compost food waste and a "garden" with veges you can grow yourself. And they would like to have a beehive in this garden. So is there a beekeeper at Manchester who could lend a hand and get a nice clean beehive ( empty :) ) set up for them from wednesday evening to Saturday evening ( 06/05 - 09/05 ) ? person or company can also take part and answer peoples questions about beekeeping, get their leaflets out there etc. for more info email Kate

Hi Lauri.

Suggest you contact Manchester and District BKA at:

http://www.mdbka.com/home.html

They're a great lot - and have several people who do events.

I've got on HIV on the Cathedral roof, round the corner from the Arndale but thats not much use, I think!

M&D BKA are a great bunch.
