"Mammoth wasp" killers

Just checking round the hive today and found the dead body of a "Mammoth wasp" 5cms in length, at least I know my bees have good guards.

Apparently they don't sting Humans, but inject an egg into "hardcase" beetles (stags)
which then grow into a larvae and kills its host.
