I googled P450 enzyme in bees. There is an enzyme group by that reference. Here's a bit of reading to pass some time.

From the abstract, it suggests that P450 plays some role in detoxification - "The potent synergism between tau-fluvalinate and PBO suggests that P450s are especially important in the detoxification of this pyrethroid and explains the ability of honey bees to tolerate its presence."

The question that I was posing is what is the evidence, if any, that feeding sugar to bees damages or destroys their P450 enzymes, to bees. making them susceptible to various toxins, including pesticide and natural toxins. This is what was being asserted in the video by the Natural Beekeeping people and was their reason for not feeding sugar to bees.

I must agree with you. I didn't find anything to support the claim in that or any other web sources.
