Levelling off extracted frames

Some of the frames of honey were drawn unevenly. Is it useful to level them, (eg. in line with the top-bar) before putting them back in the hive?
I'm hoping to break the cycle of waviness..

Yes, and if done in the winter when the comb is brittle, it can be cut quickly with an ordinary saw.

Yes, just run a serrated knife over the frame. Keeps the surface fabulously flat after the bees have it back.
