Hi, just wondering how you got on with your situation? I have a similar situation regarding waiting for new VQ to be mated.

I put it on another post wasn't sure about doubling up posts ....anyway yes checked last weekend and the weekend before both are laying very well and for a while as there was lots of brood in all stages in both quite 3rd frame in brood started to show. Two new local mated queens....quite a bit of honey crammed in. I'm quite pleased with my 1st stressfull year in all hope your queen gets mated soon too
