BEGINNERS COURSE
Introductory Course to Beekeeping 2016/17
Torbay Beekeepers Association are offering an eight week course, one year’s membership to the British Beekeepers Association (which includes membership to the Devon Association of which we are a branch), plus hands on experience at the Cockington apiary throughout the following summer for the cost of £120.
For existing members and those who would like to repeat last year’s course, we are offering you the opportunity to repeat the winter theory sessions at the cost of £75 – the same price as last year.
We find that many people like to repeat the course as, having had a summer of handling bees and gaining a better understanding of them, revisiting the theory course reinforces their learning and further underpins what they have already learned.
The dates for the winter theory course:
November 14th
November 28th
December 12th
January 16th
January 30th
February 13th
February 27th
March 13th
The course will be held on Monday evenings,
from 7.30 – 9.30 pm at The Gerston Christian Centre, Torquay Road, Paignton.
The classes will be delivered by Gerry Stuart, Glyn Davis, Liz Westcott and Mike Ticehurst.
