How long will apistan last?

I went into the hive yesterday to feed the bees and add apistan, but for some reason they were a bit angry and I took about a dozen stings to my hand. I replaced to frame I was inspecting and backed off. I now have two open strips. Will I need to get these into the hive ASAP or will they be ok for a few days?
Thanks. I am asking about longevity, not if I am using the correct treatment.

Wrap then in cling-film. Don't freeze.

Keep opened strips out of the light and they'll last ok for a while ( weeks)
