I have a little diary note to write anything down.

Granddad did not have a printer either!

The old fashioned blank post card... still sold in our local village shop.. is quite useful to write notes on and pin inside the lid of the hive... he also had a pencil... sharpened at both ends!!

If you lived closer I've got a printer you could have.

Most towns will have a shop where you could get items printed. DaveCushman has excellent inspection cards on his website. I can send you a copy if you pm me your email. Most bee suppliers, like t####s stock them as well.
