Hello all,

I've been directed here by a contact who mentioned someone might be able to help. I'm organising a photo shoot with an actor for the cover of a magazine - the shoot is on Wednesday 4th Dec (48 hours) and we're desperately seeking a bee keeper's suit.

Is there anyone in London that might be willing to lend or rent us a suit for a few hours on the Wednesday morning.

The shoot is near Hyde Park Corner, and our offices are in Clerkenwell. We're happy (obviously) to collect/deliver the suit, and we're fully insured should the worst happen (which it wouldn't - we're a careful bunch!).

Any help would be incredible, thank you!

:sos:

Thanks Suzi - you're right too, I can't reply. Could you PM me again with your email address perhaps?

You are undoubtedly a nice careful chap, but....my experience at the sharp end of filming for a decade or two would tell me that you are in the minority on a film/photo shoot. Not suggesting that you are not personally careful but who knows about your co-workers & actors.

It might be cheaper and less painful for all concerned if you just looked on ebay and bought one for your production.

Good luck though.

Completely understand, we (for the most part) shoot £200k watches and one-off pieces of jewellery, so we've been pretty good at putting together a crew that's exceptionally careful. We've been running for 9 years and (touch wood) have never had a single damage claim or unhappy subject.

I think you will find plenty of Actors on here with their own Bee Suits.
All it will cost you is the price of a jar of Honey :icon_204-2:
