I bought my fist hive 3 weeks ago as the chap was dwelling it as he was movinginto a flat so today it's been hot enough to have a wee look inside it looks like a weak hive but 2 frames are mould on them with dead bees I'm new to bee keeping but have a fair amount of knowledge but would like some other options I've tried to upload pics but it's saying the file is too big

Buy a poly nuc and put them into that. Sounds like there is damp in the hive. If they are weak they don't need the space. Get them stronger, sort the hive out and transfer them back when they need it.

I think you will need to get the pics up if you want any informed advice, am sure someone will be along to give you some pointers.

Resize them
If you don’t have a way of doing that a simple way is to email them to yourself in the smallest file size possible. Then use those. Works for me
Sounds like they need to be in a much smaller poly nuc box with the omf closed.

Hi problem solved hopefully a crack at the back of the hive I'll transfer them tomorrow into a poly nuc and check the queen's OK thanks for the advice everyone
