Noticed this weekend that a couple of my apple trees have been so fooled by the recent warm weather that they have were flowering! What on earth is that going to do to next springs flowering? I suppose it may well be a poor year after this bumper year for fruit.

A couple of my apple trees flowered last autumn - did not seem to affect the crop this year, in fact we've had more apples than ever before.
Shame the hornets ate so many!

Charlock is used for game cover crops round here . I wont let my dogs through it as it makes their eyes run like they've been in our local public pool .
