We are up to 0C today so a real heat wave. Last night was down to -11C.

Poor finman, I think this cold wave left him out. Helsinki is running about 5C daytime and 2C at night.

I'm glad we had a warm spell just before Christmas. I was able to go through my bees and figure out which colonies needed feed. If they make it 3 more weeks, I can start to feed for spring buildup.

Oh you poor thing. 😩 Freezing your fanny off. 😂

Couldn't help myself.
-24F here again this morning. Never got above 0F today. Looks like Saturday night will be down around -30F. Good ole Vermont winter.

Hey, look at it this way. We'll have some really good stock in the survivors.

Careful Michael when you talk about a bit of fanny on a British website, you might get the hand wringers all hot and bothered :D

Next you will be mentioning the joke about Mrs and Mrs Fiddler with unfortunate christian names, he was called Richard and she was called Fanny, Mmmmm:winner1st:

Remind me that VT is a good place to visit... in the summer.

I'll tell my bees that this bit of "warm" weather is just nature's way of ensuring survival of the fittest.

This would be funnier in the U.S. if his name was Peter.
