Inspected 2 weeks ago and applied first dose of Apiguard. Routine inspection nothing amiss. There was very little drone brood, maybe a couple of dozen capped. Today have found a few almost developed brood ejected from the hive. Hard to tell if they were worker or drone, as not fully developed. My question is, will the hive eject drone brood this time of year by unsealing and dumping them out of the hive? I know that some hygenic bees will dump brood when Apiguard is first applied, however, have had none of that till today.
