Dead bees outside -after snowfall

hi
weird situation after the snow last night . this morning there are about 50 dead bees who have come out after
the snow and died -no further than 10 metres from hive. not the normal chucking out the dead.

any idea?

It’s quite possible that you’ve just spotted them because of the snow. Other than that some have suggested snow can reflect light and draw them out. But I really would think they are just more visible.
