Call in desperation yesterday eve.... My house is full of bees!
Neighbor saw and heard them swarm into a disused chimney.. so put a large frying pan over the pot!
How on Earth he got to the pot I have no idea... the Land Agent got their longest triple extension and still could not reach it!
I put all of my sweeps poles together and only just managed to move the obstinate frying pan over an inch!
Luck would have it and a great ball of bees fell into my catch box as soon as I blasted smoke up the flue... queen must have been there as most of the remaining bees dutifully marched in.
Prime swarm of Native Black Cornish Amm from somewhere!... now buzzing happily in the isolation apiary!!
