Hi I had some spare time so I thought I would make a national brood box and super from some scrap wood around the garden, what do think ? still got no bees yet though lol, going to make the roof now

bought a ply hive kit the other day for cheapy bait hive, have taken measurements, and will be making more. was suprised how easy it was.

Are you going to fill what looks like a gap at the bottom of the inside panel on your bb as it may be interesting lifting the frames if they build comb in the gap.

it looks like you had the same woodwork teacher as me;o),good roof and plenty of paint lashed in round it and they'll love it.bees dont need a palace to live it.
now all you need is to hammer up another dozen when your in the notion,you'll be glad of them some day.
