Spent a couple of jolly days on and off in town flushing a new swarm out of a chimney. Long story. Queenless (thanks pestie) and collect nuc tomorrow night, half the bees already united.
Anyhow, part of the rigmarolle involved putting Beequick up the flue on rods. Works well. Anyhow, pestie in attendance to learn more about working with bees didn't wash his hands (comes off easily with wipes) and, when he got home, was bitten simultaneously by six of his ferrets out for a romp. They are not of a violent disposition. Be warned...lol.
Any other creatures dislike the stuff?
